A Chinese delegation headed by Mr. Lu Dongfu, Vice Minister of Transport and Administrator, National Railway Administration, China visited India Railways from 15th to 18th September 2014. An MOU and Action Plan between Govt. of Republic of India and Govt. of People’s Republic of China on enhancing technical cooperation in Railway Sector were signed on 18th September 2014.Raising of speed on Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysore corridor is one of the identified areas of cooperation and HSRC/RVNL are the counterpart agencies for this study from Indian side.
